Branding for Teach Creativity
Teach Creativity is a resource website for educators on Creativity, Innovation and Problem Solving. The practical purpose of the website is to allow educators to download resources/lesson plans on specific courses (outlined below), and to share relevant links.
In addition to creative design of the homepage, this website project is also about information hierarchy and organization. The 3 main sections are Creative Advertising, Entrepreneurship, and Post-Secondary. Each of these topics has a both Resources Page and a Blog category for updates assigned to it.
The clean design of the logo aims to represent the Teach Creativity brand as professional yet fresh resource. The text spacing is not too crowded, to allow room for thought and creativity; the all sentence-case letters avoid authority and unnecessary distraction. Green is used throughout the branding as the “creative colour”.
The domains selected were .ca, because of the Canadian origin of the educators, and .info, because thre domain is intended for informative Internet resources.
Homepage design concept features 4 doors, one for each category on the website. Once inside, visitors are taken to a more structurally organized site including search and category features.
That’s a mold-breeakr. Great thinking!
